Three things the table shows. The party line held on every immigration vote: every Republican listed voted to override the governor, every Democrat voted to sustain. Moffitt and Corbin did not just vote for SB 153; they co-sponsored it. And the budget that made highway plate readers permanent passed with every WNC Democrat’s vote as well, inside an omnibus whose plate-reader section has no identifiable individual sponsor (Carolina Journal). No WNC legislator has a found public statement on plate readers, Flock, or the RTIC (as of Aug 22, 2026).
